With just one race left in the United States Collegiate Skiing and Snowboarding Association’s season, the Sierra Nevada College snowboard team is getting prepared for nationals.
They finished off the regular season last weekend with a romp over their USCSA Northern California foes — placing first in all four giant slalom races at Squaw Valley USA.
“Our guys are strong and feeling excited going into nationals,†said coach Jeff Corrado. “I think we’re pretty strong in all areas and have a lot of talented guys who are disciplined.â€
Team leaders Spencer Cordovano and Seth Gunsauls traded first-place finishes this weekend, with junior Cordovano taking the top-spot Saturday and senior Gunsauls Sunday…. More info
