The Porsche 911 might be most known for its abilities as a fantastic circuit racing car, but it’s actually extremely useful in rallying as well. Teams like Tuthill use them to compete in safari rallies and ice races, and according to this video, so do Porsche factory Le Mans drivers.
Romain Dumas, one of Porsche’s 919 drivers, fielded his 911 GT3 rally car at the WRC-sanctioned Rallye Monte Carlo last weekend in the R-GT class.
