When The Eddie was called off back in February, many of the world’s best big-wave surfers left the North Shore to catch the morning’s first flights to Maui. The news at dawn was delightful: Jaws was once again roaring.
The madness that ensued lasted a full two days – February 10 and 11 – and Adam Carbajal, who has been camped out in the Peahi gladiator pit all winter, was there to capture the goods.
