Burton Snowboards, a snowboard manufacturer, launched a mobile marketing campaign. Working with only a tight budget in China, the company wanted to combine trend-setting Chinese youth and video mobile phones to create their mobile channel. The campaign drove traffic to their WAP and web sites through the mobile as well as online media.
The idea of the campaign was to let users record a video clip of the location they are in on their mobile phones and upload it to the Snobile website. Within seconds, the users will receive a customised movie back onto their mobile phones with soundtracks by local punk bands…Â Details
