A professional cyclist racing in New Mexico on Thursday nearly had his efforts derailed on the first stage of the race. A freak crash broke his bike 4 kilometers from the finish line.
Lucky for him, he was able to complete the homestretch after a Good Samaritan saw his plight and lent him his old-school, 1980’s-era mountain bike, allowing the cyclist to finish the race in a hilarious fashion.
