Australia has record-breaking early snow and opens up, Europe has record-breaking late snow but closes down. Why?
Mount Buller in Victoria was due to open on June 6th, but it has just had 35cm of fresh snow and the temperature has stayed cold so the resort is opening this weekend.
It’s a one off and will only be open for the weekend, as the snow will probably melt once it warms up, but it shows a go-getting attitude… Details & Pictures
