We’ve had some stylish and charismatic additions to the RP Family over the last few months, so when it came time to pick a location for our SS16 look book, it was an easy choice on the land of palm trees, mid century architecture, great skate spots, and warm swimming pools. No place has more classic California style and charm then Palm Springs.
The vibes were high and the days were long as Christian Maalouf, Taylor Caruso, and Daniel Shimizu were joined by skate legend Jason Adams, and style icon Alyasha Owerka-Moore for an awesome weekend of slappies, wallrides, BBQ’s and cannonballs.
Day one started with skating through downtown, then on to an abandoned shopping plaza with killer ledges and a fun little ditch, and ended in classic Palm Spring form as the crew chilled poolside with some cold ones and Chef Maalouf cooking up some skewers.
Day two the RP crew hit some of PS’s famous ditches, and then ended the day cruising to more downtown spots until sundown.
