Four past winners of the Hang Loose Pro Contest stills in the game for a second title in the historic tenth edition in Fernando de Noronha (PE). The current champion Brazilian Raoni Monteiro and Brazilians Jean da Silva won their heats, while Brazilians Guilherme Herdy and Victor Ribas finished in second and move on into the round of the 48 best surfers. Other stars who also had great performances was Brazilians Hizunome Bettero, Fabio Gouveia, Simao Romao and the two times World Pro Junior Champion, Pablo Paulino, which recorded the highest heat total score of the event so far.
