For 30 years the resort of LAAX in Switzerland has built its reputation as the world’s most progressive freestyle snowboard destination. The culmination of this development is the LAAX OPEN 2016 – a snowboard contest that brought together the world’s best freestyle snowboarders and upcoming riders for halfpipe and slopestyle competitions offering also live music events, acrobatic and mystic shows as well as a pop-up restaurant in the gondola hall to make it a true mountain lifestyle affair.
