“This is the first competition where we have only the top pilots“, said winner Tim Alongi (FRA) about the solo paragliding aerobatics at the FAI World Air Games 2015 in Dubai. He claimed the gold medal in front of Horacio Llorens (ESP) and Eliot Nochez (FRA).
The FAI World Air Games, conducted under the rules of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), is the premier international multi-discipline air sports event fielding the world’s top athletes. The 2015 edition of the FAI World Air Games has been awarded to the United Arab Emirates for the first time and will be held in Dubai from 1 to 12 December 2015, presenting an array of 11 sports and 24 disciplines.
