Conceived originally as an event where a few close friends could get together, ride trails and party up in the mountains in the south of Norway, Hillbilly Huckfest has grown exponentially since the first gathering back in 2009.
Huckfest still retains the same essence of pure fun of those early events, though these days there are a few more people coming to party, watch the action and let loose. The invitation-only dirt jump sender sessions, the focal point of the festival, has been hosted by Norway’s own freeride pro Mads “Makken” Haugen since 2012.
