An 11-year-old boy from Southern California is in the process of becoming the youngest person to ever complete the Seven Summits — climbing the tallest peak on each of the seven continents — and he’s doing it for a cause: to cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Tyler Armstrong of Yorba Linda, California, made international headlines in July 2012 when he became the second-youngest person to ever summit Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro at age 8, and again in December 2013, when he became the youngest person to ever climb South America’s Mount Aconcagua at age 9   …  More
