This year has been one of sales and acquisitions and today another gets added to the list. Quiksilver has sold its majority ownership interest of online retailer Surfdome to Surfstitch Group for approximately $16 million. Surfdome will continue to carry Quiksilver’s umbrella of brands that also include Roxy and DC under a two-year supply agreement, according to the news announcement.
In August, Billabong announced the sale of Surfstitch and Swell.com for $35 million to a consortium of investors including Surfstitch’s original co-founders Justin Cameron and Lex Pederson. Billabong inititally acquired stake in Surfstitch in 2009.
