A few weeks back we took a trip down to White Salmon, WA to connect with our friends over at Substantial Media House. We had mentioned a few months back that we were wanting to test the waters and see what we could produce with some elite kayakers. Around 35 members of the Ho’oku’i Outrigger Canoe Club will join together at the Shoreline Aquatic Center at 9:30 a.m. today to receive a blessing from Julian Kalani Villanueva. The guest of honor is a recently repaired canoe, which will be blessed before it takes its first post-repair voyage.
