Porsche seem leaning more towards Le Mans than Formula 1

There have been large speculations for the last few months over the fact that a number of companies under the Volkswagen group will be potentially bidding to get their cars into the Formula 1 circuit next year. Porsche was the company with the highest probability to join Formula One. Audi and Volkswagen were also not left far behind and were also on the likely list to join the prestigious racing event. But now a new set of rumors are doing the rounds. The chances of VW joining the Formula One have gradually deemed with time but they are tipped to join the Le Mans program. U.S. legislation would exempt dirt bikes, ATVs from consumer act

Racing quads is a family affair for the Tedescos of West Leechburg.

Leslie Tedesco’s oldest daughter, Zara, 9, races competitively, as does her middle son, Tommy, 7. The youngest son, Carlo, 5, rides for fun and wants to start competing.

So it should come as no surprise that Tedesco supports legislation introduced in the U.S. House this week that seeks to stop a federal “lead law” from effectively banning the sale of kids’ dirt bikes, all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles beginning May 1.

Early stages of 24-hour Rolex race are challenging for NASCAR drivers

DAYTONA BEACH — The NASCAR drivers in the first six hours of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona were getting impatient.

Traffic was so thick and wild during the early portions of the sports car marathon, it was tough for them not to revert to their natural instincts.
