Porsche’s new 911, which will be officially revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month, will be sleeker, larger, lighter, more powerful, faster, less thirsty and, according to the maker, better to drive.

It’s a fast and furiously fun day at the racetrack — in this case, the parking lot of Henderson Stadium, full of carefully laid out rubber cones to create the mile-long course for regional drivers who wish to test their skills.
The Middle Georgia Region Sports Car Club of America meets monthly as drivers test their vehicles and skills against each other and themselves. The drivers hit the course four times, trying to come up with a best overall time that will bring them a trophy or a medal in their specific class.

SONOMA — Sweeping the Sonoma Grand Prix might not be as easy as 1-2-3 for Team Penske this year, but qualifying sure was. Teammates Will Power, Helio Castroneves and Ryan Briscoe turned in the top three times at Infineon Raceway on Saturday afternoon, a strong display by the Penske crew.
