The GT2 version of the Corvette C6.R will face its first endurance race test in Saturday’s Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. You know things are not going well at Targa Newfoundland when your first day of competitive driving ends with a ride in an ambulance headed to St. John’s, all sirens wailing, strapped head to toe on a hard stretcher. Minutes earlier, co-driver Keith Townsend and I had left the starting line for the first of two passes on the Flatrock stage aboard Subaru Rally Team Canada’s race-prepared Targa STI.
