Does anyone know how the rash of “Day In The Life” videos got started anyway? Not that it’s truly important, but I seem to notice it popping up more and more these days. I hate to even bring it up, but did it start with the BMX version of 411 video magazine? Remember that thing? Good in theory, good riding, good people, good music and pretty good videos all around. But since the people behind the project weren’t BMXers, it sometimes didn’t translate so well. Remember the infamous Brian Castillo bow-legged table cover?
The cover that basically told everyone in BMX, “411 doesn’t know what they’re doing.” I mean, we all know Castillo can lay a proper tabletop any day of the week in his sleep…Â More info
Dave Brailsford today called for his team’s success in the Beijing Olympics to be converted into increased participation across the UK in the run-up to the London Games in 2012.

The County Commission has approved a contract with Rad Canyon BMX Racing that officials anticipate will attract a national crowd to their Farmington arena.
