Early winter snowfalls have promised New Zealand’s ski slopes a bumper year as they get ready for the opening of the 2009 season in June.
More than 1.4 million ski passes were sold throughout the country last year as New Zealand cemented its popularity as an off-season destination for locals and snow bunnies from neighbouring Australia and the northern hemisphere.
