Skateboard Inline Skate BMX – Boarders, Bikers to Face Off Saturday
Are you impressed by the teenagers on their skateboards and BMX bikes who fly around the statue of Karl Marx at Teatralnaya Ploshchad? If so, learn from the best this weekend when the Adrenaline Games come to Moscow.
Eight thousand people are expected to visit the two-day event, which starts Saturday at the speed-skating center in Krilatskoye.
The games will see hundreds of competitors from around the world compete in six different disciplines: street skateboarding, street BMX, flatland BMX, aggressive in-line skating, mountain-boarding and wake-boarding.

Colorado Springs, Colo. (September 10, 2009) – Round three of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup presented by Swatch is set to get under way at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. September 18-19.
Fifty-two Americans will be among the star-studded field of 150 riders, including 2008 Olympic silver medalist Mike Day (Santa Clarita, Calif./GT), 2009 world champion Donny Robinson (Napa, Calif./Hyper), 2009 USA Cycling National Champion Jason Rogers (Mesquite, Texas/Haro-Rockstar), 2008 overall women’s Super Cross champion Arielle Martin (Spanaway, Wash./GT Bicycles), and top-ranked ABA pro Khalen Young (Murieta, Calif./Haro-Rockstar).
Also lining up on the Olympic replica Supercross track will be top international riders like 2008 Olympic BMX gold medalist Maris Strombergs (Latvia/Free Agent) and reigning world champion Sara Walker (New Zealand).

BMX legend Dave Mirra was just looking for a change when he decided to quit drinking and eat a little healthier.
