Get a look at the making of one of the toughest challenges we’ve ever attempted as the Range Rover Sport tackled the gruelling Inferno Mürren downhill ski course with Ben Collins, formerly the “Stig”, behind the wheel. 14.9 kilometres of severe terrain, descending more than 2000m on a slope of up to 60% over ice, loose rock, mud, broken asphalt, grass and gravel.
The Porsche 911 is possibly one of the most delightfully stubborn cars ever. Porsche has retained the 911’s rear-engine layout since it evolved from the KdF-Wagens back in the 1930s. As much as I love an ass-engine, there are times when it may not be the best solution, and now even Porsche seems to agree, at least on their new GT racer.

This video features the 1000HP 9ff Porsche GT3 Gturbo (based on the Porsche 911 997 GT3 MkII) participated in this years SCC500’s event ‘Rolling50 Deutsche Meisterschaft’ on Black Forest Airport in Lahr, Germany. This event is all about drag racing. 1000m, a rolling start at 50km/h and insane cars!
During the drag races (with 50km/h rolling start) against other supercars, this 9ff GT3 had some engine failures at high speed!
