Two four-wheel drive mega hatches go head to head in this drag battle.
Both feature manual gearboxes, but the Focus has 50bhp and 67lb ft of torque more than the Golf R. Can the understated VW take the win? Or is the Focus simply too quick for it. You’ll have to watch to find out.
1/2 Mile Race between an iconic 550 horsepower Ford GT and 887 Horsepower Porsche 918 Spyder at Pike’s Peak in Colorado. The Porsche 918 is driven by 13 year old Steven Aghakhani and the Ford GT is driven by his father Armik. We really appreciate that this father and son team raced these rare and expensive high horsepower exotics all day long at the Pikes Peak event. Watch the video to see whether the Ford GT or the Porsche 918 is faster in the 1/2 mile.
This is very simple: we have three great sports cars from three great car-making countries. And we want to know which is fastest in a quarter-mile drag race.
From the USA, we have the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. From Germany, we have the Porsche 911 Turbo S. And from Japan, we have the car that has so far out-dragged everything we’ve put it up against, the Nissan GT-R.
This time, though, the GT-R might have met its match. After all, the 911 Turbo S is four-wheel drive and rear engined. The Hellcat is neither of those … but it does have 707bhp.
