The New England Handicapped Sports Association (NEHSA) is pleased to announce that the 2009 Adaptive Kayak Program will begin on Saturday May 16th. The program is open to adults and children that have physical and developmental disabilities. NEHSA provides all equipment, including kayaks, paddles, PFDs, and any required adaptive equipment. On Tuesday expert kayakers took advantage of that opportunity, which was created, believe it or not, by a sewer district, just for fun.
If you do things right at the Riverdale Wave, you can point your bow up the Weber River and just sit there as long as you can take it.
