At only 10-years-old, Russian skateboarder Maxim Abramov went viral after his video was re-posted by skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, Thursday, September 12. Abramov started using a skateboard to help him get around, having lost both legs when his bed caught fire at just 18-months old. The boy says the skateboard was just more comfortable than his prosthetic legs. Abramov’s coach, Pavel Mushkin, says the young skateboarder trains hard and takes part in all the competitions he can with the hopes of one day competing in the Paralympic Games.
