The crash left him unable to walk, but his rehabilitation and therapy are proceeding well, with Trev seeming upbeat on his blog; “there are loads of other things that I’m still able to do, and I’m looking forward to trying new things that I probably never would have thought of.”

A bit of the valley’s almost-forgotten sporting history resurfaces today and Saturday as dozens of motorcycle racers spin around a short, slick and quick concrete track at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.
“You have to lean in pretty far and stay on the gas,” Jethro Halbert, a professional racer from San Jose, said before Thursday’s practice round in an indoor pavilion. “There’ll be a lot of bumping out there.”
