The annual call for women to get on their motorcycles and simply ride, it doesn’t matter how far or even necessarily to a particular destination, but to just get out in the saddle. Its all about International Female Ride Day, where women the world over are asked to get out on their motorcycles the first Friday of May, which is today.
The globally synchronized day for women was designed to emphasize and spotlight the many numbers of women who ride motorcycles, celebrating not only their diversities, but similarities in their shared passion for motorcycling. It became a huge hit at its inception in 2007, instantly identified among women riders and has since tripled in involvement each year.
