San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart has been having a heck of a time for the last three races or so. It’s not that he wasn’t fast enough, or even in a position to win the races, but something has gone wrong every time. First, in Atlanta, he passed Chad Reed heading to the white flag only to end up in a collision with Reed when he made an aggressive move to the inside on the final lap and they both fell. Because of some last-lap shenanigans, Stewart ended up fourth.
