Spectrum is an eight episode documentary series focusing on one of the most physically demanding and dangerous sports in the world: professional Supercross and motocross racing. This eight episode Web series documents eleven different athletes, all at unique points in their careers. From 15-year professional and family man, Andrew Short, to those trying to find their way into the professional ranks such as 18-year-old amateur racer, Joachim Falden, Spectrum gives the viewers unique insight into not only the ups and downs of the top tier racers in the sport, but also those struggling to make a name for themselves in a truly open and honest look never seen within the sport. These are our final two episodes of season one.

It’s not snowmobiling, and it’s definitely not motocross. It’s called snow biking, and it might be one of the coolest up-and-coming sports out there. The concept is fairly simple: take a regular motocross bike, slap on a snow mobile track and a front ski instead of wheels, and voilá…you’ve got a snow bike. To check out this new sport, pro freestyle motocross rider Ronnie Renner set out to test out the bike himself in some fresh Idaho powder. The world’s most prestigious and acclaimed rally departs from Buenos Aires on January 2. A grueling 13 days later, the finish line will be crossed back in Rosario by only the toughest competitors as they must first negotiate 9,000km of unforgiving terrain.
Along with stages in Argentina, the Dakar Rally will be contested within Chile’s Atacama Desert as well as among the ear-popping altitude of Bolivia. Only half of those who set off from Buenos Aires are expected to complete the rally such are the challenges that lay in store for man and machine.
