Back at the start of the year, I came across Tarlair Swimming pool online. Situated in the North East of Scotland, Tarlair Pool was a popular location for Scottish holiday makers but as European holidays became more affordable, Tarlair became abandoned. Today the site remains derelict but locals still head down to walk around and remember the pool in its former glory. – Joe Urquhart

If you ask Pat Smage how to describe himself he’d tell you he’s a MotoTrials rider with a bike addiction. It’s an apt description as the PNW Components Squad member, with 10 MotoTrials National Championships to his name, is an absolute legend in the sport. Lucky for all of us his skills transfer over quite nicely when a motor isn’t involved. With new tools in his quiver from Fatback Bikes and Ghost, Pat is spending his time off the moto making his mark on the MTB industry.
I had so much fun getting creative in the Scottish sun on the mountain Buachaille Etive Beag near Glencoe and in and around the turquoise waters of Dunbar harbour. We lucked out with the weather big time! I hope you enjoy the video! – Danny MacAskill
