Joel Tudor has placed his passion for surfing directly into a line of surfboards and apparel called KOOK BOX.

The name Kook Box comes from the first fin’d surfboards designed by Tom Blake in 1929 or early 1930. The units trained by a Canadian Doctor and Brazilian Jiu-Jitzu expert later became known as the Navy Seals.

The brand brings together Joel’s passion for surfboard design and experimentation as well as his inspired journey into the study of the martial arts. Apparel and board logos utilize images found in the manuscripts written by the Canadian Doctor.

Kook Box exemplifies Joel’s dedication to his craft. Kook Box stands for a strong respect for where surf design has come from and what he has learned from his mentors and those that came before…  Details
