Emile ‘The Pig’ Veilleux and Escapade Boardshop organised the first ‘JAM’Bon (The HAM JAM) at the PigStation last saturday. Judge by the riders themself, the Winner took home a HAM supply for a month. Day was one for the books.
Just as Red Gerard says, a bit of overcast weather doesn’t stop these young snowboarders from tearing up the park during The Launch 2014. They still have “the best time ever.” And shortly after the day began, the sun broke through the clouds for a bluebird day of spring snowboarding at Seven Springs in Pennsylvania. Day 3 of The Launch was heavy. with Red, Brock Crouch, Reid Smith and Kyle Kennedy lapping the park like it was their own personal playground. Which, we guess, it was. During midday, the jumps were sessioned with Taylor Gold, Nik Baden, Brandon Davis, Sam Taxwood, Hans Mindnich, and Ben Ferguson leading the charge, and as the sun set, some of the best transition tricksters under the age of 21, including Seamus O’Connor, Spencer Whiting, Nils Mindnich dropped into the hip for a day ender that will go down in The Launch record books.
