The Dirksen Derby is a snowboard rally race and charity event hosted by Josh Dirksen in order to raise money for Tyler Eklund and his family. Tyler is recovering from a traumatic snowboard injury he sustained in 2007. The event, held at beautiful Mt. Bachelor, is also a great opportunity for many people in the snowboard industry to reunite after a long summer, brush up on their turns and support a great cause. With over 500 entries this year, its proving to be an annual stop for many and the crowd enjoying the clam chowder at the top of the course is always a pleasant group of friends old and new.
