Skateboard sensation Danny León enlisted the help of Ryan Sheckler, Alex Sorgente and Zion Wright for his May 2017 Eolo Project, 300 miles north of his hometown in Madrid.
The goal was to ride inside giant wind turbine towers in Avilés, Asturias, Spain.
León welcomed his friends for 72 hours of fun in Avilés with the trio traveling over 5,000 miles for the chance to skate in a wind turbine factory with him.
With wind turbines measuring an astonishing 400-feet tall and 26-feet wide, these giants are the perfect playground for any skater especially one as daredevil as León who is a regular visitor to the principality of Asturias otherwise known as “natural paradise.”
To finish off their fun adventure, they headed to Valliniello Quay in the port of Avilés where they continued to pull off a series of cool tricks.
When Cam Zink first started riding, no one knew what a full suspension bike was capable of, and frankly, he didn’t care. He was too busy jumping off massive drops hoping that the frame wouldn’t crack. Over time, he added tricks into his repertoire, wowing the world with some of the heaviest 360s and flips ever attempted on two wheels. His career is a laundry list of accolades and pivotal firsts. Rampage veteran and podium topper, freeride pioneer, the Guinness world record holder for the biggest backflip, are just a few to name, and that’s not even scraping the surface. But beyond the insane things he does on a mountain bike, Zink has got a story that can resonate with anyone: He’s a guy who simply loves to ride his bike.
