Trek World Racing have just completed the North American leg of the UCI World Cup which saw some pretty amazing racing on the Mont-Sainte-Anne (CAN) and Windham (USA) courses. High speed, dusty and plenty of action, as the team walks away with two wins for Laurie Greenland. Watch as George Brannigan gets his best ever result on the Canadian track, and Laurie Greenland wraps up the overall World Cup title in Windham with one race remaining.
After almost 2 years of no riding due to injuries, I finally took a trip to the Cook Islands for a couple of weeks to try and get my riding back. We had a lot of lighter winds, but it was one of the best trips I have had in terms of regaining my confidence and trick set. On the last day i unpacked my gear again for a quick session and got almost all of these shots in 30 minutes, which I was pretty stoked on. Cliff diving – in a place where diving from great heights has been a tradition for four-and-a-half centuries – a hand selected group of 14 of the world’s best cliff divers will be part of the first ever World Series competition at the ‘Stari Most’, the old bridge of Mostar, and the country’s most recognizable landmark. The first dives from the bridge date back to 1664, the first competition to 1968, and August 15, 2015 marks the day when Gary Hunt, the dominating Brit, will launch acrobatically from the 27m platform to continue the pursuit of the ‘perfect season’. After the season’s closest finish on the Portuguese Azores and two new faces on the podium, the World Series will meet fanatical cliff diving fans and touch new grounds in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
