Ashima Shiraishi is 14 years old. She’s also the first woman and youngest climber of either gender to climb a sport route with a difficulty grade of 9a+ (5.15a). We spent a day with her in New York City as she discussed her ambitions and embarrassed grown men in the gym.
While on the Levi’s Skateboarding skate park build in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, Jerry Mraz took some time to show the kids how to build their own things to skate. This feature shows a quick how to for a bank to ledge in an abandoned barn on the Pine Ridge reservation.
This past winter we assembled our small crew of New Hampshire natives and began shooting and riding together. We set out to go have fun while snowboarding, and began filming at Loon, and street spots around New England. While finishing up High School, and some going off to college already, we are only looking forward to winter from here. Enjoy!
