The fourth episode of Vans’ Excursion series follows UK skateboarding staple and full time carpenter Chris Oliver as he explores known, unknown and long forgotten terrain dotted around his adopted hometown of London.
Throughout his youth he spent hours and hours riding a hardtail bike. He tells us that this set the foundations of mountain biking for him and that it’s certainly the best way to learn to ride fluidly, with a clean technique. With a hardtail you can do everything – DH, XC, enduro, dirt.
Amongst mountain biking’s best, Nicolas Quere is known for his whacky and sometimes extrovert side. Except here it’s impossible to say that he’s exaggerating. So there’s no additional chat needed in order to prove that an enduro hardtail can really do everything. The end result can be found in this video!
