The annual Airblaster Board Games at Timberline Lodge exploded with good times on Saturday, April 16th. So much fun in the sun on a slushy hand-sculpted course with all our best friends, hot lappin’ and bad doggin’ a private mini chairlift, no hiking required…it doesn’t get much better than that. And we’ll do it all over again, this time next year.
Western Australia. It’s red, it’s dusty and its raw. It’s the kind of place you can’t predict what will happen around the next dusty corner. Cue Radical Times in WA, the Unpredictable Edition.
Taj Burrow retired. Matt Banting snapped his entire quiver. Mikey Wright went home on crutches (ok. With Mikey boosting the way he does, this one was kinda just a matter of time). Leo Fioravanti slayed World Champions on his way to the Quarter Finals of the Margies Pro. Sebastian Zietz surfed his way into world number 2. And Kanoa Igarashi, Jeremy Flores and Wiggolly Dantas got chatted up by a big ol’ shark out Margaret River’s Mainbreak.

I know it is a little shaky I have been trying a new mount out… But here is a helmet cam from a creasy Cairns world cup, showers through out the day made the track really slick at times. Check this run out from practise today, few mistakes that I need to clean up for tomorrow and Sunday!
