In May of 2016 a gathering took place in Riksgränsen, Sweden that was a multi-generation amalgamation of style, stoke and “send it” enthusiasm. The reason for uniting in Riksgränsen was to celebrate the anniversary of Ingeman Backman’s storied leap across the same Scandinavian landscape two decades ago.
Cinematographer Kyle Schwartz was there to capture the festivities and bring back new images to add to the Riksgränsen legacy. This video features footage of Nicolas Müller, Alek Oestreng, Scott Stevens, Sam Taxwood, Joni Malmi, Louif Paradis, Iikka Backstrom, Joni Malmi, Pat Moore and host Ingemar Backman himself.
