Each year it´s snowing in Innsbruck but usually it just gets wet and dirty the next days. This year a heavy cold period kept it white for a while and we could snowboard a lot in the streets of Innsburck. Our daily routine for about 3 weeks: Meet for coffee and breakfast, discuss spots, drive there, hang out, have some fun, get back home, send spot pictures in a whats app group, sleep, repeat.
While we save some shots for our movie, there still few fun shots coming to you now. Simon Pircher, Paul Tiefenbacher, Steve Grumser, Michi Schatz, Peter Walchhofer, Christoph Schwarz, Christoph Wagner & Raffi Kossmann show one more time how much fun it is to cruise random stuff with your snowboard.
Gary Young is 33 years old, has been a pro rider for 15 years, and is at the top of his game. It’s hard to understand how after so much time as one of the most skilled BMXers on the planet Gary’s abilities could possibly continue to improve, but there’s no question – he’s never ridden better.
Perhaps even more impressive, while filming for Grow Up, Gary also managed to be a devoted husband, raise a young daughter, celebrate the birth of his son Lincoln, ride in the X Games twice, and film his epic Vans Illustrated video part. If you don’t think that’s incredible, you don’t have even a passing understanding of how hard any one of those things is.
The Bench. A beautiful, naturally occurring global phenomenon. Recently, a group of friends new and old gathered in Oslo, Norway to celebrate this wonder of the modern world. It was just like heaven…Bench Heaven.
The event started with a three day invite-only film session on existing benches in and around the streets of Oslo.
The last day was the public event, Bench Heaven, at Oslo Vinterpark that allowed the local kids to hang out and ride with the invited pro riders.
As the Dutch winter slowly entered the Dutch streets, Joeri decided to move to a more sunny place in Europe. What better place to go to during the winter than Barcelona, right? He stayed there for a few months and managed to film some clips in between his stay.
