The Rail Report project celebrates Luke Winkelmann’s North Carolina roots as he puts snowboarding on display at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. An unlikely place to ride in it’s own right, Luke, Judd Henkes and Alex Caccamo pushed the boundaries of their own creativity without the big mountains out west. Check out the result as the crew manifested the ultimate snowboard session on NC’s feature-filled landscape.

I happened to be recording while practicing for the XC portion of the Exchequer Extravaganza next weekend when I almost ran into this rattlesnake on the trail! Thankfully I wasn’t going very fast and had proper situational awareness, so I was able to react in time to avoid getting bit. Still came close. – Miksta
Back in June of 2019 Dennis Enarson set out to make the part of a lifetime; something he and the BMX community would be proud of. The goal was to capture BMX riding that lives on throughout time. He spent 8 months hammering away at his goal. This part was 90% complete before Covid hit and shut down plans for filmmaker, Rich Forne, to come out from Spain to San Diego to get Dennis’ last few bangers. Instead the two finished editing the part from other sides of the world.
