After Covid derailed plans for a 2020 event, Swampfest came back with a vengeance for the 2021 Halloween weekend. The best jam/shitshow in BMX hit Wildwood, Florida, and it was 48 hours of riding and raging. No words can do Swampfest justice; you have to live it to truly understand. Hopefully this glimpse into the weekend will help, though. Huge shout-out to Trey Jones and the crew for putting on another one for the books.

With all the resorts around the world closed down I originally thought I would be spending this period split boarding. But the government has issued strict guidelines urging people not to undertake any dangerous activities, which covers everything from surfing and cycling to skateboarding and surfing. Whilst this was a bitter pill to swallow at first,I now realize that it is so as not to put any additional strain on the health services. So here is some footage I shot a few weeks ago of the infamous Tunnel Piste here in Alpe d’Huez!
The Tunnel Run is one of the steepest pistes in Europe, so steep in fact that the top section cannot even be pisted as the piste bashers can’t get up there! It gets its name from the 200m long tunnel which is actually carved through the mountain from one side to the other. This makes for a really cool and unique ski run that I haven’t seen anywhere else. – Malcolom Moore
Yes, we have gone a little Jaws-crazy this week. We covered November 2nd, opening day at Peahi, in Realtime, we posted four amazing rides from Albee, Billy, Francisco and Kai — plus one of the biggest successfully ridden bodysurfed waves of all time by Kalani Lattanzi. Can’t help ourselves, really — we just get so excited when the seasons change and the North Pacific starts cranking out big surf. And while it wasn’t historically gargantuan by Jaws’ standards, there were some historic rides that went down. Hit play above for a full highlight reel from the day.
When we were cooking up the idea of the World Peace snowboard, we knew that we wanted this board to be playful, snappy, and tough as nails. Immediately, we reached out to K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Antti Jussila to get some insight. After working through prototypes, dialing in shapes, sidecuts, flex patterns, camber lines, etc – Antti put the World Peace to the test, attacking anything and everything Finland had to offer.
Filmed entirely in Finland with a hint of France in there (Merci, Bastien)
