The prototype WRX STI has been timed in a test drive around the Nürburgring. Major improvements have been made to the chassis performance, including the body itself as well as its aerodynamics. The new mode shaved more than 4 seconds of the 2004 time, clocking in at 7:55; the fastest lap time ever recorded for the WRX STI. Driver: Tommi Mäkinen
