Pietermartizburg, South Africa (July 30, 2010) – Four more medals will be coming home to the United States after day two of the UCI BMX World championships in South Africa. Fifteen-year-old Felicia Stancil (Lake Villa, Ill.) dominated her Challenge Class division to earn a world title as did Nathan Padilla (Lakewood, Calif.) in the 16-year-old boys division. With amateur class competitions complete, attention will now turn to the junior and elite superstars as they compete for the title of world champion on Saturday. Â
Day two consisted of the 14-and-over junior challenge classes as well as the masters events. American wizz Felicia Stancil wrapped up her seventh world title at only age 15, sweeping each moto round and romping to a lopsided win in the 15 Girls class.
