A week ago, Danica Patrick was wrecked while in the midst of what would have been her best NASCAR finish — an unnecessary victim of bullying as far as she was concerned.
So this week, Patrick warned the guilty party, fellow rookie James Buescher, that he better not push the issue in Friday night’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Russia will host grand prix races near the Black Sea resort of Sochi starting in 2014 after signing a six-year contract with Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone on Thursday.
Ecclestone and a regional Russian construction official penned the deal in Sochi, which is also hosting the 2014 Winter Olympics. Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with Ecclestone and attended the signing.
Russia has tried to get on the F1 circuit before, but former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov failed to reach an agreement with Ecclestone in 2002 to use the capital as a venue … Details
If You Thought the Old GT-R Was Impressive, Stand by To Think Again
Dirk Schoysman is one of those people whose appearance belies his profession. Tall, quietly spoken, gently humorous and perpetually affable, he looks like he should be employed in a thoroughly wholesome occupation. A veterinarian perhaps, or a charity worker. What he absolutely does not look like is the man who, in all probability, knows the Nürburgring Nordschleife better than anyone else alive or dead. When we met him he was about to complete his 19,000th lap of the most terrifying and challenging racetrack on earth, and as that lap measures close to 14 miles, that means he’s driven the distance from the earth to the moon on this track. If there is a better man to introduce me to the 2012 Nissan GT-R, I’ve not met him.
