The new Dodge SRT Viper has been revealed at the New York auto show. The reborn American performance icon is lighter, more powerful and features a much more premium interior that borrows some materials from SRT’s Chrysler Group siblings Ferrari and Maserati. Designed and engineered in Detroit, the SRT Viper has been and will be built at the recommissioned Conner Assembly Plant.

Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the man who is responsible for designing the first generation of the Porsche 911, has died at 76 years old in Salzburg, Austria. The cause of death was not released.
