For Marco Andretti it was pretty much an up-hill pedal from the start of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. An up-hill fight that saw a promising run end in a heartbreaking DNF.
That was not the case for Ryan Briscoe who was in the mix all day and eventually took the Grand Prix win.
Briscoe held off runner up Ryan Hunter-Reay in a three-lap dash to the finish, giving Indy car’s winningest car owner Roger Penske his third St. Pete victory.
