Last weekend at Michigan and Kentucky was a whirlwind, both on and off the race track. Kyle Busch was in the middle of a lot of it and far away from the rest, which is good.
But then we had that crazy finish to the LifeLock 400 and the director went to one of the end game’s key players, fifth-place finisher Greg Biffle.

The wine tastes a lot better nowadays around Kevin Buckler’s Petaluma shop.

Walk through the large wooden doors, though, and Buckler’s other obsession, noisy and greasy as it might be, is on display. The garage is abuzz with mechanics and engineers working on powerful Porsches for an upcoming race.
It’s an unusual transition and, like stepping off a snowy slope to go to the beach, one that is uniquely California.
