Martin Truex Jr. has won the pole at Phoenix International Raceway.
Truex turned a lap at 135.120 mph Friday to qualify first for Sunday’s race at PIR in his No. 1 Chevrolet.

Turner Motorsports officials say Ricky Carmichael will join the team for the final two races of the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, as well as full time in 2010.
