In a thrilling final, which could hardly be outgunned in terms of drama, Juliane Wurm from Germany and Jernej Kruder from Slovenia claimed the highly paid adidas ROCKSTAR title this weekend. 70 of the world’s best bouldering athletes from 20 different countries travelled to Stuttgart, Germany, to experience a top-class bouldering invitational competition in the modern Porsche-Arena.
September 13 to 14 2013, Stuttgart (Germany) – The countdown is on. It will not be long and the who’s who of the international competition-climbing scene will meet for the second time in Stuttgart’s Porsche-Arena. For the crowning finale of the season Stuttgart is looking forward to see Rockstars 2012 winners Alex Puccio (USA) and Sean Mc Coll (CAN) facing defending World Champions Dmitrii Sharafutdinov (RUS) and Mélanie Sandoz (FRA) as well as Boulder World Cup winners Akiyo Noguchi (JPN) and Rustam Gelmanov (RUS). All in all 70 invited athletes from 20 different countries gather in Baden-Württemberg’s capital to compete in the disciplines Bouldering and Lead.
I had the chance to film a series of extreme stunt videos with Ford! For this video they gave me a Ford Explorer, and one tank a gas, to see what adventure we could go on. With this one we got some pro long boarders, and took over a mountain for the day!
