Thousands of thrill-seekers kicked up a storm in dune buggies on the Imperial Sand Dunes to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Also known as the Algodones Dunes, the Glamis California desert scene plays host to an annual, yet free-form celebration where people let loose in an array of colourful vehicles.

The Red Bull Mexican Logistics father/son team of Gus Vildosola Sr. and Gus Vildosola Jr. have repeated their 2010 Baja 1000 overall win, giving a Mexican national team the overall title for only the second time in the history of the race. They completed the 1,121-mile course in less than 20 hours, beating the two-wheeled riders to the finish line for the second time in the past three contests.

A quick look at the modern ATV landscape reveals quite a different picture than just a few short years ago. Before the economic crisis took a strong hold, seven manufacturers offered ‘race-ready’ 450cc Sport ATVs – most of which were new or recently updated.
